Hair Stylist & Owner of Salon Anew
Hello, I'm Vickie, and I'm the owner of Salon Anew. As a hair stylist, my goal is to create a style just for you by using my unique 'Head Shape Matters" technique. Not every head shape is the same, so you won't get cookie cutter hair at Salon Anew. I enjoy keeping up with the latest trends and hair styles, both in the beauty and fashion industries. In my personal life, I enjoy spending time on the lake with my husband, Dale, and as time permits, you may find me hanging out with our teenagers and granddaughter. My favorite hobby is shopping for decor for my boutique, and you could say that I try to keep up with the trendiest decor styles- you'll find the salon decorated throughout the year, during all holiday seasons.
Misty Russell
Hair Stylist
An East Tennessee native, Misty is a passionate and creative hair stylist, known for her unique Southern charm. While considering her style "old school," Misty still enjoys her specialty of giving perms for easy, wash-and-wear hairstyles. Outside of her profession, she loves hiking in the mountains, gardening, and listening to music - especially from the 90s - and describes herself as an "old soul" at heart. She has a love for animals, especially cats, and enjoys traveling, often receiving travel tips from her guests. She specializes in hair color, including gray coverage with highlights, as well as men's haircuts.
Madison Berry
Hair Stylist & Nail Technician
Madison is a passionate and experienced stylist from Sweetwater, Tennessee. She loves to make her clients look and feel their best, with her favorite service being lived-in blondes. She takes pride in crafting beautiful, natural-looking blonde styles that complement each client's unique beauty. But don't worry if you're not blonde - Madison will give any head of hair a natural and stunning look. Madison is also a big fan of Tennessee football and Dolly Parton, and she brings that same enthusiasm and spirit into each appointment. Whether you're looking for a fresh look or maintaining your current style, you'll receive a tailored experience to meet your needs. So, come in and enjoy a relaxing, personalized salon visit, where your beauty and confidence are first priorities.
Kyla Watson
Nail Artist & Technician
Ever since she was a little girl, Kyla has been passionate about nails. In high school, she didn't know what she wanted to do, and during orientation for college, decided that wasn't the path for her. Since her passion for nails was supported by her family, Kyla became licensed doing what she's always loved, and for over 3 years, she's been a dedicated and creative technician. What Kyla loves most about her job is the satisfaction seeing the joy on her client's faces. Polish makes everything better - whether you've a bad day or a great one, getting your nails done lightens your mood and increases your confidence. What's more satisfying than feeling beautiful and receiving compliments on a set of stellar nails? Manicures are Kyla's favorite service and she is a true perfectionist - you'll only ever leave happy and completely satisfied by her work. Outside of the salon, Kyla loves to spend time with her family and travel every chance she gets, especially shopping and going to the beach!
*What is a Level 1 Stylist?

A Level 1 hair stylist is typically a junior or entry-level stylist, often starting their career after graduating from beauty school. They are still building their skills and knowledge, working under the guidance of more experienced stylists, such as coworkers and salon owner.
They offer services at a more affordable rate, too! As a customer, you receive both talent and affordable rates!
Marki Bear
Hair Stylist, Level 1 *
​Marki was raised in Southeast Michigan and now resides in Sweetwater, TN. She loves being out in nature and enjoys spending time with Jesus and her loved ones. Marki is passionate about serving others and giving each client a unique cut and style that they will feel confident in. We are lucky to have her at Salon Anew as a Level 1 hair stylist.
